Program:
The program, New Technology Solutions for Homeland Defense Communications,
will feature two technology innovators and a Raytheon specialist in security
integration. The two technology innovators are Frank St. Claire, CEO of Anigme,
a start-up company with wireless security technology, and Gary Duncanson, CEO of
No Magic, an early-stage company with security technology for government
agencies involved in homeland defense. Stephen Ravsten, deputy director of Raytheon's First
Responder Group, will represent Raytheon. The moderator will be Tad McIntosh,
CEO of HumCap, Inc.
Issues to be addressed include current emergency communications in the U.S.,
current federal programs that affect those communications, the nature of an
emergency response network, and new tactics and technologies for emergency
response.
