Program
Offshore outsourcing, a hot topic because American workers are losing jobs
that are being outsourced offshore, is also important because of its other types
of impact it can have. Using the format of a trial with expert witnesses
testifying for both the defense and the plaintiffs in "Offshore Outsourcing
on Trial," a panel of experts will discuss issues such as productivity
increases, corporate profits, national economic impact, lost jobs and displaced
workers, financial and personal privacy, protectionism, software & data
security, intellectual property protection, project quality control and
management and more. The audience will be the jury and for judging offshore
outsourcing after hearing the expert witnesses.
