How American Businesses Can Cash in on Chinese Research &
Entrepreneurship Capabilities
Program
Big companies such as Microsoft and Motorola, and a wide array of smaller
companies have been cashing in on China’s unique technology research,
manufacturing and entrepreneurial capabilities for many years. As China
continues its rapid development of technology infrastructure and as economic
globalization increases, smart American business people are scrambling to learn
how to leverage and prosper from China’s upsurge in resources and
capabilities. With a panel of experts, the MIT Forum will explore the
challenges, best practices and opportunities for Texas and local businesses, and
will learn about recent findings on new opportunities. Part of the panel
discussion will be a presentation by a member of the Chinese Research Delegation’s
October 2004 trip to China, which included Texas-area university vice presidents
of research.
