Technology Day:
Accelerating High-Tech Entrepreneurship
to be TAD’s January Event
Members of the MIT Forum are urged to register before the event is
announced to the public.
After
the tremendous success of its first entrepreneurship day for technology experts,
the Tech Alliance of Dallas (TAD) will offer a day of opportunities for
technology entrepreneurs on January 17, 2004.
The program, Technology Day: Accelerating High-Tech Entrepreneurship,
will be at The University of Texas at Dallas and will begin with registration
and networking at Noon. The main program will begin at 1 p.m. with a keynote
address by Jeff Campbell, Vice President Technology Services and Chief
Information Officer, Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company, and will
run until 5 p.m. The cost to reserve a space in the program is $10 and
registrants will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Early registration is recommended since last year’s TAD event
had more than 600 registrants and half had to be on a waiting list.
Details of the program, speakers and agenda will be available in the
future at www.tadallas.org.
Registrations
will be limited to 300. Registration is available at the TAD web site at: http://www.tadallas.org/2004registration.html.
TAD member organizations are being given advance notice of this event to
allow their members to register before this event is announced to the
public. Please do not try to register through the MIT Forum contacts, as
all registration will be done through the TAD web site page (above).
TAD
is an “umbrella” organization that brings together technology and
entrepreneurial-focused organizations in the Dallas area with thousands of
members. Early-stage entrepreneurs
who attend the January 17 event will learn about the hot areas investors are
interested in, and will meet experts who can help them identify how to spot and
develop the hot new technologies that will excite and motivate investors,
customers, and teammates. Confirmed
speakers and further details will be found in the future on the web site: www.tadallas.org.
This
TAD event is being made possible by the following sponsors: Andrews Kurth, LLP;
Baker Botts; Genesis Campus; Haynes and Boone, LLP; Jackson Walker, LLP; Jones
