Join us on February 17, 2005 as the MIT Forum teams up with UTD's Institute of Interactive Arts and Engineering to present an exciting look into this industry from local and national renown experts.

The Business of Games

A two hour discussion of the game and simulation industry in North Texas. The seminar will cover topics such as: Creative business models that are being utilized that are both successful and not. Successful projects from cell phone games to mega hits titles like Doom 3 that have been developed in the area. A discussion of intellectual property development and the creation of value The impact of game software on technology and education.

This is a great lead into the evening's MIT Forum Program for venture capital firms, investors, companies interested in including games in their products and the technology media.

 

Interactive Entertainment

A panel discussion of the direction of the game industry in North Texas and the rile our area plays internationally in this almost $12 billion dollar business.
