On December 11, 2003, the M.I.T. Enterprise Forum of Dallas-Fort Worth, Inc. will present
Winds of Change: New Technologies CIOs are Looking for in an Uncertain World at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) School of Management Building. The program begins with networking
and registration at 5:00 p.m., a keynote address beginning at 6:30 p.m., and a
second networking session after 7 p.m. The cost to attend is a donation of
$20 which will be waived if you bring an unwrapped toy or gift for a child aged 11 – 17, which will be donated to The Family Place. Reservations can be made at mitforum@juno.com, or 972-377-4554. More information and directions to the new management building are at www.mitforum.com.
There will be a keynote address by Mike McClaskey, chief information officer
(CIO) of Perot Systems Corporation. His presentation will offer suggestions to
entrepreneurs on what specific technologies and tactics to develop that business
managers and CIOs can use to prevent crises and to maintain control of
information technology within their companies.
DIRECTIONS: Enter at the Security booth on University Pkwy. (Off of
Campbell) to get an orange parking pass, and turn right -- the SOM building is the first building on
the right. Parking Lot M is the correct parking lot. If the parking lot
becomes filled, drive back past the guard station to the first building on
the left, which is the Activity Building, Parking Lot G.
